Physical Development

All children in Early Years participate in weekly Physical Development (PD) sessions, thoughtfully designed to enhance their gross motor skills. These sessions are more than just active play; they help children build strength, coordination, and spatial awareness through carefully planned activities. Physical development at this stage is crucial for supporting overall health, improving balance and posture, and even enhancing cognitive development. Through engaging exercises and fun challenges, children not only develop their physical abilities but also gain confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards staying active—skills that will benefit them for years to come.
