At Markham College, we foster a strong sense of global citizenship in our students, helping them to recognize the diverse needs of their country and the world. While we understand that we cannot change everything, we are committed to shaping individuals who can make meaningful contributions as agents of change.
Through our Service Learning programme, students are encouraged to become compassionate leaders, independent thinkers, and lifelong learners. They engage in activities that benefit local communities, learning to take responsibility for the well-being of others while developing essential personal qualities such as integrity, humility, loyalty, and respect—for themselves, for others with different perspectives, and for the environment.
We believe success is not measured by the scale of the initiatives but by the impact on our students. What truly matters is that they understand that their actions, no matter how small, make a difference. Our goal is to instill a deep sense of pride and commitment to their country, alongside a global outlook that values diversity, justice, and sustainability.
