Dr Judy Cooper
Head of Markham College
Judy Cooper holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Bristol, UK, an MA in Education from the University of Brighton, UK, and a BA in Business Spanish and Organisation Studies from the University of Central Lancashire, UK. She is a qualified Coach with the Institute of Leadership and Management and a coaching trainer. She brings 25 years of experience as a teacher and educational leader. Before coming to Peru, she was the Principal of Nexus International School in Singapore and previously Head of KGV School in Hong Kong. Judy has a passion for coaching in education, a love of learning, and innovative pedagogy.
Bruno Landa
Peruvian Director
Born in Peru, Mr Landa studied Education and Philosophy and has a Masters in Psychology for Children and Teenagers. He joined Markham College 30 years ago and is constantly aiming to improve the welfare of students. For Bruno, the right learning place is a happy and safe environment.
Jason Martin
Head of Early YearsJason Martin was born in Wales, UK. He studied Music at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and gained his Postgraduate Certificate in Education from London Southbank University. Currently he is completing an MA in Education with Early Childhood, inspired by the birth of his daughter. Jason has 21 years of experience as a teacher and leader working in London, Spain, and Brazil. Before joining Markham, he was head of Lower Primary at The British School, Rio de Janeiro. Jason is passionate about building a connected home/school community where children can thrive and enjoy learning through play.
Adrian Lee
Head of Primary
Adrian graduated from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London, with a BA (Ed) Hons degree. He has taught in the UK and Spain, and has spent a significant part of his career at Markham College, where he has held a variety of leadership roles. He is passionate about developing positive learning communities where all members feel valued, connected, and inspired.
James Tucker
Head of Secondary
Mr James Tucker has lived and worked in South America for more than fifteen years, bringing extensive leadership experience to Markham College. Prior to joining us, he served as School Principal at Chartwell International School in Chile, Head of Behavioural Sciences at The Grange School in Chile and as Middle School Principal both at Santiago College and County Day School in Costa Rica.
Mr Tucker holds a degree in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s in Public Policy from SOAS University of London. He is deeply committed to fostering a strong school culture, enhancing academic and personal outcomes for students, and empowering teachers to deliver their finest work.
