The Markham College community is built on the contributions of several key groups that are deeply committed to the school’s success: the Board of Governors, APAFA (Parents’ Association), OMA (Old Markhamian Association), and the Markham Trust.

Board of Governors
Established in 1946, the Board of Governors plays an essential role in overseeing and guiding the school’s operations and long-term strategic vision. Its members serve on a voluntary basis and are dedicated to ensuring the continued success of Markham College.

Markham Trust
Founded in 2004, the Markham Trust is dedicated to supporting educational excellence at Markham College and contributing to social and educational projects in underprivileged Peruvian communities. As the school’s fundraising arm, the Markham Trust plays a crucial role in aiding students’ holistic development and in promoting service to the broader community.

Old Markhamian Association
Founded in 1950, the Old Markhamian Association (OMA) continues to be an important part of the Markham community, fostering a lifelong connection between alumni and the school. The OMA promotes interaction through a variety of social, cultural, and sporting events, encouraging Old Markhamians to stay involved with their alma mater and the broader school community.
The current OMA Board activities include:

- Gold and Silver Jubilee Celebrations
- Networking Sessions
- Social gatherings promoting OMA restaurants and cultural venues

APAFA
The APAFA is an active and integral part of the Markham community, fostering collaboration between parents and the school. We believe that parental involvement, with a proactive and cooperative spirit, plays a vital role in supporting students’ education. The APAFA is dedicated to continuously improving Markham College for the benefit of all students.
