Banderas Blancas Por Manchay presented at LAHC

A group of students from Markham College did a presentation to other Latin American schools on this year’s campaign, Banderas Blancas Por Manchay. Their hope was to inspire others to start similar projects in their local communities.

A follow-up, practical and interactive workshop is planned, in which students from the other schools will identify a need in their communities and then, during the workshop, they will receive practical advice on the logistics and how to run the project, including how to get it off the ground, allocate roles and more.
The workshop will also include breakout groups where they will be able to brainstorm how to address the needs each school found and create the skeleton projects.
