Upper School

The Upper School is located on the original college site in Miraflores. The campus has a rich and nurturing environment where pupils are able to fulfil their individual potential. This section has top-level educational resources and infrastructure, and offers provides pupils with a broad selection of academic choices staffed by highly-trained specialist teachers.
This section consists of students from Middle School (Primary 6 to Secondary 2), the IGCSE years (Secondary 3 and 4) and what we call Sixth Form, (Secondary 5 and 6) or students completing their studies in the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) or the National Programme.
By graduation, our pupils are mature and self-confident, responsible for their own learning and well-prepared to meet future academic challenges in either Peruvian or overseas universities.

Highly diversified curriculum

Middle School: Pupils from Primary 6 to Secondary 2 (Middle School) are given a ‘taste’ of each subject before they start to specialise in IGCSE subjects.

IGCSE: In both Secondary 3 and Secondary 4, pupils study for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). The Upper School at Markham offers a wide selection of IGCSE courses. For a complete explanation of the IGCSE courses offered and the most up-to-date results please review our latest student IGCSE results.

Sixth Form: After Secondary 4, pupils continue their studies in the Sixth Form by following either the National Programme or the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB). The National Programme is a rigorous one-year course taught in Spanish and is geared to preparing pupils for entry into Peruvian universities. The International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) is a two-year course, taught in English, which prepares pupils for entry to universities worldwide.
