Judy Cooper
Head

Mrs. Judy Cooper holds an MA in Education from the University of Brighton and a BA in Business Spanish and Organisation Studies, from the University of Central Lancashire UK. She is a qualified Coach with the Institute of Leadership and Management and a coaching trainer. She brings 25 years of experience as a teacher and educational leader. Before coming to Peru, she was the Principal of Nexus International School in Singapore and previously Head of KGV School in Hong Kong.  Judy has a passion for coaching in education, a love of learning, and innovative pedagogy.

Marco Bassino
Peruvian Director

Born in Peru and an ex-Markhamian, Mr Bassino graduated as a teacher in High School Education with a degree in Language and Literature from the Universidad Nacional Mayor of San Marcos. He also has studies in a Masters in Educational Planning. Marco has taken many different roles at the school since his arrival in 1981 and remains keen to combine the best practices from both Peruvian and international schools.

Bruno Landa
Director of Student Support

Born in Peru, Mr Landa studied Education, Philosophy and has a Masters in Psychology for Children and Teenagers. He joined Markham College 30 years ago and is constantly aiming to improve the welfare of students. For Bruno, the right learning place is a happy and safe environment.

Jason Martin
Head of Early Years

Jason Martin was born in Wales, United Kingdom. He studied Music at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and gained his Postgraduate in Education from London Southbank University. Currently, he is completing an MA in Education with Early Childhood, inspired by the birth of his daughter. Jason has 21 years of experience as a teacher and leader working in London, Spain and Brazil. Before joining Markham, he was head of Lower Primary at The British School, Rio de Janeiro. Jason is passionate about building a connected home/school community where children can thrive and enjoy learning through play.

Alan Nocker
Head of Primary

Born in Scotland, Mr Nocker spent much of his childhood in the north of England. After graduating in education in 1982, he worked as a teacher in the United States. Alan has worked in Markham College for the last 25 years.

Ronak Punjabi
Head of Secondary

Ronak's journey in education has taken him across borders and through diverse experiences. His educational background includes a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish from University College London, with immersive experiences at the Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico and Université Jean Moulin Lyon-III in France. He holds a PGCE and a Master of Education (MEd) in Research in Second Language Education from the University of Cambridge. His professional journey includes teaching and leadership roles. He has taught languages in the UK and Hong Kong, and contributed to the education landscape in Singapore as a Head of Department, Head of Faculty for Languages, and most recently as an Assistant Principal, focusing on Assessment and Technology for Learning.
