| Located in a three-story pavilion adjacent to Underground Atlanta, The World of Coca-Cola encompasses the history and progress of the refreshing beverage that was created in Atlanta over 110 years ago. While Coca-Cola was first served at a small pharmacy soda fountain near Underground Atlanta, this soft drink can now be purchased in over 200 countries across the globe. The World of Coca-Cola captures all the excitement of this world-famous product, not only through its exhibits, but through its unique architectural style. Visitors pass under an enormous three dimensional Coca-Cola globe suspended 18 feet over the entrance, then step into a spectacular three story, sky-lit atrium. From there visitors move at their own pace through an easy to follow series of fun and fascinating exhibit galleries. At the late 1930s Barnes Soda Fountain, an old-fashioned soda jerk will demonstrate how an early Coca-Cola was prepared |
