The Lower School, with its purpose-built facilities, specialist classrooms and play areas, caters to the academic, physical and emotional needs of our students from Primary 2 to Primary 5.

There are large green playing fields for physical education and recreation. Modern computer facilities and Smartboard technology, under a wireless intranet system, complement our teaching approaches. Constantly-updated international learning materials, a fully-equipped bilingual library and specialist art, music and science rooms are some of what make the Lower School at Markham a highly stimulating educational environment for curious learners.

The tutor is the primary caretaker of the emotional and developmental needs of the students. A trained educational psychologist is also permanently on staff to provide guidance to parents, teachers and students. Additional academic support is available for those students who need extra attention.

The Lower School has the responsibility of ensuring the well-being of the students as they mature, successfully preparing them for the academic challenges of the Upper School.
