Technology Enhanced Learning

Each classroom in Early Years has multimedia computers linked to a wireless network. The section also has a computer laboratory with 18 computers where children, beginning in Pre-Kinder, attend weekly ICT classes that help to integrate the work they are doing in their classes with their developing ICT skills. Children use carefully selected educational software at the appropriate age levels to complement their learning of English (Reading and Writing), Maths and Science.

The latest sensation in ICT is the interactive whiteboard or Smart Board. All of our P1 classrooms are equipped with a Smart Board, as well as the library, the computer laboratory and most of Kinder. Learning and teaching are enhanced by this powerful learning tool.
