WHAT EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES CAN BE TAKEN?

A wide range of activities may be on offer. These may be cultural, artistic, musical, leisure, sporting or service. The more the exchange joins in, the more they will benefit from the exchange experience. The student will usually participate in some form of programme away from the school; this may involve a combination of environmental studies, adventure and service, depending on the student's age and the time of year (e.g. survival training in the South African bush, learning to fly a glider  in Australia, or dog-sledding across frozen Canadian lakes).
